Biography:
Dr. Mayank Agarwal is a dedicated medical academician and an Additional Professor in the Department of Physiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur. His research primarily focuses on cardiovascular physiology, with a special interest in autonomic function and the physiological effects of various stressors. Dr. Agarwal investigates heart rate variability (HRV) as a non-invasive tool to assess the health of the autonomic nervous system in different populations, including individuals with obesity and those exposed to high-altitude environments. He is also actively involved in medical education, exploring innovative teaching methodologies to enhance the learning experience for medical students. His work contributes to a deeper understanding of physiological adaptations and the early detection of cardiovascular risk factors.
