Biography:
Dr. Güler Kalem is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at Istanbul Aydın University. She holds a Ph.D. and MSc in Informatics from Istanbul University and a BSc in Computer Education and Instructional Technology from Marmara University. Her academic and research focus lies at the intersection of computer science, healthcare technologies, and educational innovation.
Dr. Kalem has contributed to interdisciplinary projects involving artificial intelligence applications in biomedical research, disaster management digital solutions, post-pandemic hybrid education models, and user acceptance of mHealth technologies. Her publications highlight the integration of advanced software methodologies with real-world challenges, ranging from improving disaster risk response systems to developing effective hybrid learning frameworks in ICT education.
