Call for Papers
The Journal of Public Health International welcomes submissions throughout the year from researchers, practitioners, and multidisciplinary teams working across public health. Regular submissions are accepted throughout the year.

JPHI publishes research across all of public health, with epidemiology as a core area. The topics listed illustrate the range of work the journal considers, including but not limited to:

Article types
Case reports, commentaries and descriptive surveys are considered when they are relevant to population health. A case series is submitted as a Case Report.

There are no fixed length limits for any article type; manuscripts should be concise and proportionate to their content.

Review, publication and fees
- Screening
- All submissions undergo initial editorial screening. Manuscripts that meet the journal's scope and minimum requirements proceed to independent peer review.
- Peer review
- Single-blind by default; double-blind review is available on request. Manuscripts that proceed to external peer review are normally evaluated by at least two independent subject-matter experts.
- Decisions
- Editorial decisions are based on scope, scientific quality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, reporting quality, and relevance to the journal.
- Publication
- Accepted articles are published open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license (CC BY 4.0) with a Crossref DOI; authors retain copyright.
- Article processing charge
- USD 1,800, payable only after acceptance; withdrawal after submission is subject to the journal's withdrawal policy. Fee-relief inquiries are considered case by case; contact the editorial office before or at submission.
