Submission Guidelines

Manuscripts submitted to special issues undergo the same rigorous peer review as regular submissions. Select the appropriate special issue from available options during online submission or indicate the special issue title in your cover letter. Submissions should align with announced scope and contribute meaningfully to the collections thematic coverage.

Standard APCs apply with all fellowship membership discounts remaining valid. Waivers available for eligible researchers from low and middle-income countries based on Research4Life classifications supporting global zoological research.

Standard ZR APCs apply to special issue submissions. All fellowship membership discounts remain valid including Associate (15%), Researcher (25%), and Principal Investigator (40%) reductions.
